1) Keep pressing the “Home” Button as long as for Five seconds.

3) Choose “Controllers & Bluetooth devices” in between the Equipment Control and Alexa sub-menu.

5) Here, Under the Amazon Fire TV Remotes menu hover to “Add New Remote” to search for all nearby discoverable devices and display them.

6) Now on your new remote long-press the “Home” button for five seconds until your device recognizes the new remote.

7) In the next step, on your old firestick remote press the “Select” button that is on the middle of your Firestick remote.

8) As a result, you will see your new remote’s name on the screen and click it.

To sync your phone as a Firestick remote, just simply download the Firestick app on your smartphone. Launch the app and choose your device by entering the login credentials. If you don’t prefer the additional remote then the Amazon Fire TV app is a great alternative as you can use your smartphone as a Firestick remote.

1) The first step is to download and install the Firestick TV app from the respective official app stores as in Google Play for Android.

2) Launch the App and select your Firestick device name from the displayed list.

3) The Next step would be to sign in with your credentials to sync your Firestick remote.

4) You will see a Four-Digit prompt, so enter the four-digit pin on your TV app.
